Clearing & Forwarding; C&F Specialist; Logistics

To ensure the smooth execution of C&F operations by coordinating logistics activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the C&F team in achieving efficiency and accuracy in daily tasks.

• Coordinating with the supplier’s sales and logistics team, checking the orders, making shipping bookings and validating all documents.
• Negotiating to get the best freight quotes and nominating the most convenient and economical freight forwarder for shipments while maintaining the efficiency and SOP of related operations.
• Sharing rates with division and obtaining approval.
• Ensuring shipment clearance at customs, Dubai municipality, ministry of health/environment/economic or other legal authorities, and following up with shippers and forwarders for cargo collection and vessel sailing.
• Preparing FIRS, following up with inspections, obtaining sale approvals for food and non-food products, making MOH payments and processing import permits for pharmaceuticals.
• Preparing costing in Oracle, entering all expenses, E-dirham and cash payments, and reconciling vendor bills.
• Arranging transportation from JAFZA/Cargo Village to DIP and coordinating with the warehouse for delivery slot booking and offloading.
• Managing shipment tracker reports and measuring forwarding performance.

• Graduate in related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in UAE
• Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents
• Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
