Operational Management- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Monitor shipment milestones and ensure timely execution of operational activities and update manifests promptly.
- Arrange transportation, customs clearance, and value-added services as required.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to minimize service disruptions.
- Maintain shipment status updates and provide timely communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and exhibitions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and operational requests.
- Ensure customer requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Manage customer expectations through regular updates and issue resolution.
- Verify shipping and customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate operational records and filing systems.
- Support temporary imports, ATA Carnets, exhibition shipments, and re-export procedures where applicable.
- Coordinate with transport providers, customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and other service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality. Obtain competitive quotations and support cost control initiatives.
- Verify supplier invoices and operational costs. Ensure accurate job costing and timely billing.
- Support profitability targets by controlling operational expenses.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate data within company systems. Prepare operational reports, KPI reports, and shipment tracking reports.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of operational best practices. Contribute to productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction improvements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, customs clearance, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade procedures is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Teamwork and collaboration.
