Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Receiving guidance from the Pilot in Command for day‑to‑day operations.
  • Reporting all cabin discrepancies and maintenance issues to the pilot in command for proper documentation.
  • Coordinating with pilots, maintenance teams, and cleaning crews to ensure the aircraft is impeccably clean and properly serviced.
  • Conducting thorough preflight checks of all cabin equipment before each flight.
  • Ensuring passengers comply with federal regulations during flight activity (on Part 91 flights).
  • Briefing passengers on aircraft safety features and procedures.
  • Taking command of the cabin during aircraft emergencies, medical incidents, or evacuations.
  • Operating all emergency equipment including fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment, and automatic external defibrillators.
  • Briefing and assisting passengers with cabin management systems, including entertainment, high‑speed data, and phone capabilities.
  • Assisting passengers with carry‑on luggage and seating, including passengers with disabilities and children requiring restraint systems.
  • Maintaining a complete and detailed working knowledge of all service equipment and procedures for assigned aircraft.
  • Ensuring the cabin remains neat, orderly, and welcoming at all times.
  • Maintaining bedding and locker areas on assigned aircraft.
  • Coordinating and shopping for interior items per owner requests.
  • Planning and printing menus and weather cards.
  • Planning, ordering, shopping for, preparing, and serving all meals and beverages.
  • Developing and maintaining standard stock and sourcing vendors for cabin, lavatory, and galley supplies.
  • Ensuring the aircraft is prepared to specifications prior to each flight.
  • Providing client profile updates, post‑trip reports, catering reports, and maintaining other required paperwork.
  • Creating and maintaining aircraft‑specific manuals for assigned aircraft.
  • Managing expense accounts with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Attending and maintaining currency in all required training, including annual recurrent safety, medical, and company Indoc training.
  • Supervising or training contract or part‑time cabin crew members as needed.
  • Representing Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • 2 years of culinary and/or high‑end food service experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Flight Safety International or equivalent corporate cabin attendant recurrent training.
  • Med Aire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent.
Desired Characteristics
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation industry.
  • Interest and ability in supervising or training others (e.g., contract flight attendants).
  • Strong project management experience.
