The Inventory Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across all locations, ensuring smooth flow of inventory-related operations. This role includes monitoring stock levels, coordinating with various departments,analyzing inventory data, conducting audits, and implementing process improvements. The Inventory Executive will work with the Head Office Inventoryteam to maintain a high standard of inventory accuracy and efficiency, while contributing to overall supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels acrossstores and warehouses.
- Trackand reconcile stock discrepancies and ensure accurate data in the inventory management system (SAP or relevant ERP system).
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, including stock ageing, stock movement,and inventory accuracy reports.
- Stock Auditing & PI (Physical Inventory) :
- Assistin the coordination and execution of periodic stock audits and monthlyphysical inventory (PI) processes.
- Ensure accurate stock counts and timely adjustments by collaborating with storeand warehouse teams.
- Leadthe implementation of inventory control best practices, focusing onshrinkage reduction and accuracy.
- Utilize
BI dashboards and inventory management tools to provide real-timevisibility into inventory metrics. - Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop and maintain dashboards that support business decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process Improvement :
- Identifygaps in current inventory processes and recommend improvements to enhanceinventory control, efficiency, and data accuracy.
- Support the implementation of automated solutions for inventory tracking andstock count processes.
- Vendor& Category Collaboration :
- Liaise with vendors, the supply chain, and category management teams to ensure timely replenishment, RTV (Return to Vendor), and liquidation of ageingstock.
- Monitorvendor performance and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies anddelays.
- Documentation& Reporting :
- Prepareinventory reports and present them to senior management, ensuring clearcommunication on inventory status, challenges, and performance.
- Maintain proper documentation for inventory audits, transactions, and reconciliations.
- Compliance& SOP Adherence :
- Ensureall inventory processes and activities comply with company policies,SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Promoteadherence to safety protocols and quality standards in inventoryhandling.
Experience:1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in a retail environment
