VNA Operator

• Operate VNA machine safely and precisely in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
• Maneuver confidently in very narrow aisles, avoiding collisions and damage to racking or goods
• Follow strict safety protocols for lifting, stacking, and aisle navigation
• Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure VNA are in safe working condition
• Immediately report accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions

• Conduct daily pre-operational checks, including battery, forks, mast, brakes, and alarms and report for any faults immediately
• Handle battery charging and replacement safely and maintain proper care of equipment
• Maintain safe speed, accurate positioning, and full control of the machine during operation
• Safely lift and lower goods at heights up to 20 meters
• Ensure pallet stability and secure positioning to prevent falling objects

• Accurately pick, move, and store products for inbound and outbound operations, ensuring correct SKU, quantity, and batch/lot
• Perform put-away and replenishment tasks, placing items in correct bin locations as per WMS instructions to prevent mis-picks
• Optimize space utilization by following slotting plans and storage logic from WMS reports
• Follow FIFO/FEFO processes, manage shelf-life, and segregate damaged or expired stock
• Update system records after every movement and support inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations
• Meet performance targets for picks per hour and task completion
• Prioritize tasks based on order urgency and replenishment needs
• Minimize idle time and optimize travel paths to extend machine life and battery performance

• Use handheld terminals for task execution.
• Navigate WMS interfaces to confirm tasks, report issues, or log exceptions.

• Record discrepancies, damages, or missing items with detailed notes.
• Report equipment faults or safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain logs for shift activities, task completions, and incidents.

• Collaborate with pickers, packers, and supervisors to streamline operations
• Communicate clearly and promptly regarding delays, stockouts, location issues, discrepancies, damages, or other operational challenges

Support training of new or temporary staff and provide flexibility to assist with other warehouse tasks during peak periods or staff shortages
