Summary
The Storekeeper - Rebar is responsible for managing and organizing the inventory of rebar materials in a construction warehouse or storage facility. They oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of rebar to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
Job Responsibility- Tracks material availability and stock levels
- Coordinates dispatch with yard and transport teams
- Ensures timely and accurate deliveries
- Handles administrative tasks and reporting
- Ensures proper record-keeping, DN, GRN, Advice Note
- Maintains all project and production documents
- Controls drawing revisions and distribution
- Ensures proper filing and document tracking
- Supports audits and reporting requirements
- Prepare IPR/LPO
- Maintain delivery notes, dispatch records, and receiving reports
- Facilitate permits approvals if needed
- Ensures proper stacking and handling
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the direct supervisor to support project and operational requirements.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a construction or warehouse setting
- Familiarity with rebar materials and their handling requirements is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy rebar materials on a regular basis
