Assistant Manager – Inbound Warehouse Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound warehouse activities including receiving, unloading, sorting, and put-away operations.
• Ensure all incoming shipments are verified against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, transporters, and suppliers for smooth inbound flow.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure timely system updates in WMS/ERP.
• Manage warehouse space utilization and storage planning.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, supervisors, and forklift operators.
• Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO and stock handling procedures.
• Track inbound KPIs such as receiving productivity, unloading turnaround time, and inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve receiving issues, shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational SOPs.
• Support audits and stock counts.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce delays.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/assistant managerial role.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
