Operational Management
Assist in supervising day‑to‑day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods. Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor warehouse workflows and optimize processes for efficiency. Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for smooth operations.
Team SupervisionAssist in managing, guiding, and motivating warehouse staff. Allocate tasks and monitor performance of warehouse team members. Support in conducting training and onboarding of new employees. Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures.
Inventory ManagementAssist in maintaining accurate inventory records using WMS or ERP systems. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation. Identify and report discrepancies, damages or shortages promptly. Ensure proper labeling, storage and rotation of stock (FIFO/FEFO).
Health & Safety ComplianceEnforce warehouse safety regulations and best practices. Ensure compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Documentation & ReportingAssist in preparing daily, weekly, monthly operational reports. Maintain proper documentation for shipments, receipts, and stock movements. Coordinate with relevant departments for timely reporting. Ensure accurate data entry in warehouse management systems.
Equipment & Facility ManagementOversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements. Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space and resources.
QualificationsEducation :
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience :
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑leading role. Experience in FZE/Free Zone warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid Forklift License (preferred).
- Knowledge of HSE standards and warehouse safety regulations.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
