We are looking for a new superpower to join our kitchen team! Madame Sum is founded by three alumni of EHL and we are now expanding. • Daily production and execution of recipes in a professional food production environment
• Preparation and cooking of fillings, sauces and other components according to defined recipes and quality standards
• Accurate weighing, portioning and handling of ingredients according to recipes and production specifications
• Operation of production machinery and equipment after appropriate training
  
  Set-up, operation and basic troubleshooting of machinery during production
• Accurate documentation of production batches, quantities and relevant food-safety controls
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Production Manager to execute the daily production plan efficiently
• Support recipe development and continuous improvement of product quality, consistency and cost
• Prepare food for catering, events and other special productions
  
  Monitor product quality throughout production and identify and report deviations
• Comply with HACCP, hygiene, allergen, traceability and food-safety procedures at all times
• Correct use, cleaning and basic care of production machinery, kitchen equipment and utensils
• Support receiving, handling, storage and stock rotation of fresh, frozen and dry goods
• Support regular inventory controls and ensure accurate stock handling
• Actively minimize food, packaging and other material waste
• Maintain a clean, organized and efficient production environment
• Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures and ensure workstations are left according to defined standards
• Take ownership of assigned production tasks and complete them independently and reliably
• Work collaboratively with the production team and support colleagues where needed
• Participate in continuous training and contribute ideas to improve production processes, efficiency and product quality
• Follow company procedures and health & safety requirements
• Support the Head Chef and Production Manager with other production-related tasks when required

• Minimum 2+ years of professional kitchen experience; experience in a production kitchen or food manufacturing environment is a plus
• Completed culinary education/apprenticeship or equivalent professional kitchen training
• Strong understanding of recipes, preparation methods and consistent recipe execution
• Comfortable working with kitchen equipment and willing to learn how to operate production machinery
• Precise, organized and quality-focused way of working
• Hands-on, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take responsibility
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player
• Good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP principles
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and handling repetitive production tasks
• English is required;
  German is a plus
• Valid authorization to work in Switzerland
• Currently based in Switzerland
