Position: RR Mechanic in high volume shop

Since 1955 Midas has been a trusted automotive repair shop dedicated to providing top quality service to our customers. We take pride in our workmanship, integrity, and commitment to excellence. We are looking for a general service mechanic to join our team and help our customers take great care of their vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
  • Assist with minor repairs such as belt and hose replacement, fluid exchanges, and battery installations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings to service advisors.
    • Qualifications
  • Previous experience in automotive service or mechanical work preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of shop equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
