Job Description

Math instructors who can teach elementary through high school math subjects. College Students and Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Required Qualifications

• Local applicants only (SF Bay Area).
• Exceptional math skills through Algebra I and Geometry.
• Excellent communication and multi‑tasking skills.
• Ability to professionally interact with students to keep them focused.
• Energetic and confident personality.
• Must be able to work on location in Dublin, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses.
• Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students (a plus but not necessary).
• We serve our students year‑round, so this is an opportunity for regular part‑time work. You must be available at least 2 weekdays out of the 6 days that we are open.

Hours and Compensation

Hours:

8‑24 hours/week (flexible).

Compensation: $15–$20/hour (Depending on Experience).

Center Hours

Monday - Thursday: 3pm – 7pm.
