High School Math Tutors

This is a part-time, on-site High School Math Tutor role located in Dublin, CA. The tutor will provide instruction in core high school math subjects, including Algebra and related topics, through small-group and one-on-one sessions. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans that align with student needs, delivering clear explanations of math concepts, guiding students through practice problems, and monitoring progress. The role also involves offering constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records of student performance, and collaborating with Academy staff to continuously improve instructional strategies.

Tutors are expected to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and academic confidence.

• Strong proficiency in high school Mathematics
  , including Calculus
  , and the ability to explain concepts in multiple ways.
• Demonstrated experience in Tutoring or teaching math to high school students in individual or group settings.
• Excellent Communication skills for clearly presenting material and building positive student relationships.
• Familiarity with Online Tutoring tools and platforms is beneficial for occasional virtual support.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and academic levels.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to plan sessions and track student progress effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program related to Mathematics, Education, or a similar field preferred.
• Prior experience working with K–12 students or in an educational setting is an advantage.
