Leasing

Consultant Role

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations at a property.

Responsibilities
  • Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA, USDA Rural Development 515, HCD, HOME Funds, and Bonds) is preferred.
  • Property leasing and administration: gather leads, conduct tours, qualify prospects, sign leases, and complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
  • Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
  • Assist with lease audits, walking units, and the turn‑in process.
  • Execute marketing and outreach activities, including annual marketing plan implementation and market survey analysis.
  • Provide excellent customer service, respond to resident requests, enforce community policies, and promote a favorable image of the community.
  • Maintain the general upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas, and model units.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software functions.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular movement around the worksite, including walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to use ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and move objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Work overtime, weekends, night hours, in various temperatures, and in outdoor or enclosed spaces as required.
Salary Range

$21 per hour to $22 per hour.
