Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage) (T2771) role at Target.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks and assist guests with their needs in a friendly manner.
• Assist guests and teammates to solve specific needs, and thank guests for shopping with Target.
• Execute daily tasks to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Process changes to product pricing, merchandise setup, maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by leadership for all GM areas.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders; scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance; able to work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
