Selling Paycor, a Paychex Company’s products and services by developing new clients and increasing the client base to boost profits in the Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales organizations. The Senior Enterprise Sales Executive identifies potential clients through prospecting activities, consults with them to identify which Paycor products and services solve their business challenges, and ultimately sells those solutions to new clients within assigned territories.
The seller is responsible for self‑generating leads through prospecting, telemarketing, sales database management (CRM), and networking, and is an expert in our sales process and product offering. The role is accountable for forecasting monthly sales, achieving assigned monthly and annual sales quotas, and is a self‑starter driving results.
- Leverage the Go‑to‑Market Sales Strategy to identify customers’ needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers, either in person or virtually, to increase revenue and market share.
- Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
- Prospect for new clients and new referral sources using telephone, direct mail, seminars, client visits, and other local marketing programs directed by Sales management.
- Analyze customer needs and interests, determine appropriate products, and refer to the appropriate party when necessary.
- Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports on agreed dates set by Sales management.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
- Project a positive image by representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
- Travel outside of geographic territory for conferences, training sessions, and/or zone meetings as required.
- High School Diploma – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
- 7 years of experience in relevant professional sales.
- 5 years of experience in the HCM industry.
- Experience carrying a sales quota.
- Experience with CORE HCM provider.
- Experience working with mid‑size or larger businesses.
- Driver’s License – Required
Paychex is committed to pay transparency. The typical compensation range for this role is $75,000 – $250,000 and includes base pay plus commissions. Total compensation may vary based on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and other factors.
