You Can Expect

The Hip Technology
- Clinical Sr Sales Specialist – is responsible for driving clinical adoption and supporting utilization of Zimmer Biomet’s innovative hip technologies as well as being the subject matter experts training sales specialists in the field. This role will focus on delivering impactful surgeon demonstrations, facilitating regional sales team training, coordinating hip technology launches at the account level, and providing expert case support for Total Hip Arthroplasty procedures where Zimmer Biomet’s hip technology is being used.

How

You'll Create Impact Clinical Engagement
  • Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations for surgeons to showcase the value and capabilities of Zimmer Biomet’s hip technology portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary clinical resource during Total Hip Arthroplasty procedures where Zimmer Biomet’s hip technology is being used, ensuring safe and effective application in the OR.
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons and operating room staff to foster clinical confidence and adoption.
Training & Education
  • Lead and develop regional training sessions for Zimmer Biomet sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to support hip technology in the field.
  • Provide ongoing education to clinical and sales teams on product updates, procedural best practices, and competitive differentiation.
  • Train and teach new sales specialists as well.
Launch Process & Account Coordination
  • Coordinate hip technology launches at the account level, ensuring smooth execution from surgeon targeting to first case success.
  • Manage pre-launch activities, including training schedules, workflow planning, and readiness assessments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on timelines, resources, and post-launch follow-up.
Business Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and Capital Sales Teams to identify and execute opportunities for clinical adoption.
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives by highlighting clinical successes, gathering surgeon feedback, and sharing utilization insights.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned region.
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience with a HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years in a clinical sales, medical device, or operating room support role (orthopedic experience preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience will be considered for a more junior role.
