Release Engineer

Job TITLE: Release Engineer

Location: Dublin, CA

Term: Contract

• Streamline, standardize, and automate build and release processes
• Develop and maintain configuration management systems, manage branches, code merges within SCM systems, and administer baselines
• Coordinate build changes with development teams to meet development, testing, and release demands
• Manage existing tools and systems while transitioning to improved processes and methods
• Ensure adequate health monitoring of builds
• Collaborate with development, QA, and other teams for smooth delivery through proper release channels
• Facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts related to build and release issues
• Generate and maintain configuration management records for releases and software builds

• Experience with version control tools such as IBM Rational Synergy, Git Lab, and SVN
• Experience with Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Jira, and Coverity

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience in software or build & release management
