Our client is a 2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Planner in Dublin.
Responsibilities
• Programme Development & Management
Take ownership of project programmes from pre-construction through construction, commissioning and handover, developing and maintaining detailed schedules that reflect the agreed construction methodology, procurement strategy, sequencing and contractual milestones.
• Critical Path & Programme Analysis
Lead critical path, float and milestone analysis, identifying potential delays and programme risks at an early stage. Provide clear forecasting and scenario analysis to support project leadership in making informed decisions around programme performance and recovery.
• Progress Monitoring & Site Validation
Monitor planned versus actual progress, working closely with site teams to assess productivity and programme performance. Carry out regular site reviews to validate reported progress against physical completion and ensure programmes accurately reflect site conditions.
• Reporting & Project Controls
Produce programme updates, progress reports, dashboards, lookaheads and milestone reports for project teams, senior management and clients. Where required, support resource and cost-loaded programmes, cash flow forecasting, earned value analysis and other project controls activities.
• Tender & Pre-Construction Planning
Develop tender and pre-construction programmes that reflect project methodology, procurement requirements, construction sequencing and key contractual milestones. Work alongside estimating and pre-construction teams to ensure proposed programmes are realistic, competitive and deliverable.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years' experience in planning or project controls within large-scale construction, engineering or mission-critical projects, ideally with experience across data centre or other complex infrastructure environments.
• Strong Primavera P6 experience, with the ability to develop, maintain and analyse detailed construction programmes, baselines, lookaheads and progress updates.
• Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin Benefits
