As the Evening Shift Distribution Warehouse Supervisor at Farmers Home Furniture
, you will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, employee performance, and adherence to safety protocols. You provided leadership and direction to warehouse associates, ensuring productivity, quality, and timely order fulfillment to support store locations and customer deliveries.

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals.
• Manages receiving/order filling activities and operations by scheduling, coordinating, and directing work assignments for assigned staff and ensuring that policies are followed.
• Ensures that all safety regulations are followed by requiring employees to know rules and regulations and by testing their knowledge thereof.
• Maintains safety equipment such as fire extinguisher, fire hoses, sprinkler system, etc.
• Conducts regularly scheduled production/safety meetings.
• Ensures that the work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner.
• Receives various documentation and reports; reviews, processes, responds, distributes, forwards, files, maintains, and/or takes other action as appropriate.

Monday-Thursday 3:00PM-1:30AM

Associate's degree in business administration or related area; three years’ experience in supervisory and distribution or warehouse environment; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
