Visually examines and/or gauges glassware and packs in cartons or attends automatic equipment to ensure conformance to specification. Holds ware back or stops the line if not visually inspecting the ware. Packs acceptable ware in cartons and may install required internal packaging. Responsible for unjamming and restarting all automatic inspection equipment and checks for partition damage from the automatic case packer.

• Places ware off or on lines as necessary.
• Unjams equipment such as conveying lines, inspection equipment and case packers as necessary.
• Prepares paperwork such as production tally sheets.
• Performs other work as assigned by the Supervisor and may work in other departments as needed.
