Eastman Health and Rehab Center is seeking an energetic Nurse to join our team in Eastman, GA. You will provide residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies, as directed by your supervisors.

As a nurse, you are the backbone of a strong clinical culture. The Licensed Nurse (RN) or LPN will help fulfill the care requirements of their patients and will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents.

• Provide bedside care.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.
• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Ensure the resident chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions; notify appropriate parties of changes in condition, reactions to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess the condition of residents.
• Keep residents’ family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or health conditions.
• Modify resident care plans, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Nurse Aide flow sheets in accordance with resident changes.

• Current and unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse License (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Must hold a current BLS CPR card.
