Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a cardiac catheterization lab position requiring moderate sedation experience and on-call availability.

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Experience with Heart Cath, Peripheral, Device Insertion, and IR cases required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Works in a Cath Lab unit with 5 recovery beds and 2 cath labs
• Patient ratios of 2:1 in recovery and 1:1 in the cath lab
• Staffed by RNs and Cath Lab Techs
• Uses Mac Lab, Balloon Pump, Impella, and Boston IVUS/FFR equipment
• Documentation performed in Mac Lab and Meditech
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required
• No floating required
• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
• OR scrubs provided by the hospital
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates not accepted under any circumstances
