- Dublin We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing European contractor delivering world-class data centre and high-tech projects across the Nordics and Western Europe. They have played key roles in delivering some of Europe’s most impressive Data Centre projects to date and are now looking to further expand their team with an experienced Regional Business Development Director in Dublin.
Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
Define and execute the regional business development strategy to drive growth across key European markets, with a particular focus on hyperscale data centre clients and technology infrastructure partners.
Client Relationship Leadership
Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, consultants, and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their technical, commercial, and operational needs to position the company for repeat business.
Opportunity Identification & Pipeline Management
Lead market intelligence efforts to identify new project opportunities, framework agreements, and long-term partnerships, maintaining a robust and accurately reported business pipeline.
Work-Winning & Bid Strategy
Collaborate with pre-construction, estimating, and delivery teams to shape winning strategies for major tenders, influencing bid positioning, commercial approach, and client engagement plans.
Brand Positioning & Market Presence
Enhance the company’s visibility in the European data centre market through client engagement, industry events, and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives.
Leadership & Collaboration
Provide direction and mentorship to regional business development and pre-construction teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, excellence, and long-term client focus across all pursuits.
Requirements Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction sites (Preferably Data Centres or Pharmaceuticals)
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin
Relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent would be advantageous Benefits
