Your Role:
Physician at Curana Health

We’re seeking a mission-driven Physician to join our team and make a significant impact in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents
  • Build strong relationships with facility staff
  • Mentor Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure coordinated care
  • Improve health outcomes for vulnerable patients

This position offers the autonomy of private practice combined with the resources and stability of a leading healthcare organization dedicated to transforming senior care.

Full-Time or Part-Time Schedules Available

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care through patient history and physicals, and conduct routine rounding (minimum once per week).
  • Collaborate with APPs to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.
  • Mentor APPs to elevate care delivery across your team.
  • Drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes by closing quality gaps.
  • Advocate for patients, championing what matters most to them.
  • Represent Curana Health’s mission and values as a clinical leader in the communities you serve.

Qualifications
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment
  • Active DEA License
  • Proficiency with EMR
  • Compassionate, intelligent, motivated, and a team player

This role requires travel to and from one or more assigned facilities. Depending on the amount of travel required, Curana may determine that a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are necessary. You will be notified of any such requirements with thirty (30) days' notice.
