PLM Applications Developer

Responsibilities:

• Perform coding in Visual Basic, SQL, or CAA to access CATIA/Enovia Objects;
• Write code to automate engineering processes for several design teams/areas, utilizing KWA/KWE or Enovia catalog tools as needed.
• Collect and analyze customer needs.
• Participate in the identification and application of solutions.
• Define deployment methodologies and technical specifications.
• Integrate, debug, develop, and maintain applications developed.
• Mentor and support other team members.
• Design applications that work together to produce the desired product and ensure performance guidelines are met.
• Assist in the transition from application development to support.
• Work with product development teams and senior designers to develop requirements to ensure client satisfaction with the product.

Basic qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Information Technology.
• 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or Business Administration and 2 years of relevant experience.

Other skills desired:

• 2 years of experience with automotive VB or SQL development projects and KWA, KWE, and/or Catalog building in CATIA/ENOVIA V5.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, Visual Basic (VB), and SQL.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills for design, coordination, and testing of applications.
• Solid understanding of relational databases.
