Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced elevator or design professional within the Vertical Transportation/Elevator industry to serve as a consultant for our clients. The role requires a dynamic, forward‑thinking individual who can drive business results by providing insightful solutions that meet clients’ needs.

What You’ll Do- Generate customer pipeline by marketing LB services in the service area through regional conferences, client lunches, site visits, and industry blogs.
- Participate in all aspects of project development, including bid and contract development, conceptual planning, design, construction administration, maintenance audits, site safety, and equipment inspections for vertical transportation systems.
- Manage active projects to ensure client satisfaction, quality, timeliness of delivery, and accurate billing and payment.
- Assist with planning, coordination, billing, delivery, and other activities for other business lines as requested.
- Provide scheduled and requested reports on equipment status, work completed, billing percentages, contract additions, change orders, and deficiency lists to leadership.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry operational trends and equipment.
- Wear required PPE such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hat, and any contractor safety requirements during on‑site inspections and construction services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (preferred)
- 3‑5 years of experience in the elevator industry (strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the industry and ASME codes, standards, and safety rules
- Expert knowledge in vertical transportation equipment such as elevators, escalators, moving walkways, mid‑ and high‑rise building design, specifications, and analysis
- Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills; ability to coordinate with architects, owners, municipalities, and consultants
- Strong negotiation, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills
- High accuracy in task execution; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced team environment
- Regional travel for client visits as required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint, CAD/drawing review software, and Project Time Recording System
- QEI/CEI certification (strongly preferred); certification may substitute for 1‑2 years of prior experience

This role involves both physical and mental demands across offices, construction sites, and confined spaces like elevator pits. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request.
