The ideal candidate will focus on short‑term financial planning and operational efficiency, providing critical support to senior management through detailed reports and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Financial data analysis and planning on a periodic basis.
- Identify and analyse cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Assist the Team Leader and Manager in the planning, co‑ordination and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting routines and responsibilities.
- Application for payment to Client.
- Expenses controls.
- Intercompany agreements in the Turner & Townsend business network.
- Purchase Order with Contractors, Sub‑Contractors and Sub‑Consultants.
- Liaison with other contract management team members (in contracts and resources teams) for regular sharing of information and improvements on communications, particularly in the area of rates, expenses and intercompany information.
- Liaison with Lending entities within Turner & Townsend cost centres.
- Finance Team Reports (eg Intercompany agreements, Expenses, etc).
- Develop process and procedures for the team to improve and streamline efficiencies.
- Work with the Team Leader and Manager on continuous improvement measures for finance data management (SharePoint, Power BI, etc.) and to continuously improve quality assurance of data.
- Assist the Team Leader with any ad‑hoc reporting within the Turner & Townsend Commission Management Team, the Client Partner team and the Client Team.
- 4–5 year(s) experience in a related area
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, QS or a related field.
- Proven experience as a management accountant, business analyst, financial analyst, cost manager, quantity surveyor, financial operations or similar role.
- Experience with financial software (eg, Dynamics
365, etc) and advanced MS Office (Power BI would be an advantage). - Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills while dealing with multiple stakeholders in Turner & Townsend, contractors, sub‑contractors, sub‑consultants and client.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
