RFP; Request Proposal Specialist

The RFP (Request for Proposal) Specialist will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and expansion of the public funds department by supporting the request for proposal process for investment advisory services.

• Prepare responses to requests for proposals utilizing RFP software
• Partner with Public Funds Advisors to obtain or develop request-specific responses
• Coordinate with Marketing and Legal departments to complete the final product
• Assemble RFPs (i.e., compiling information, formatting the document, making necessary changes per SVP request, binding and submitting)
• Provide input into updates or revisions to standard responses
• Maintain answer database with compliance-approved responses
• Support Advisors with ad-hoc business development research and projects

• Confidence to work directly with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring RFP service needs are met and priorities are aligned
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to successfully navigate simultaneous multi-level projects and tasks in a team environment
• Become a subject matter expert on the software used to respond to current and prospective clients' requests for proposal for investment advisory services

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience with request for proposal writing or proposal management, preferably in financial services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
