Our culture is built on curiosity, collaboration and craic where every idea counts and every journey matters. Ready to make an impact? Let’s go places together.

Make an impact at the heart of Car Trawler’s Finance & Legal function, supporting global tax compliance and contributing to some of the most exciting strategic initiatives across the business. Joining on an initial 9-month contract, you’ll gain exposure across all tax heads, international tax considerations, cross-functional projects and high-growth market expansion experience that will position you strongly as the team continues to evolve.

From US sales tax implementation to DAC7 reporting and M&A activity, you’ll help deliver best-in-class compliance while shaping how Car Trawler scales internationally. It’s an ideal opportunity for a motivated tax professional eager to broaden their expertise in a fast-paced tech environment.

Your Journey starts here!

What you’ll do as a Tax Analyst
  • Manage end-to-end tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments across all tax heads.
  • Oversee transfer pricing requirements, maintaining documentation, monitoring intercompany charges and coordinating external reviews.
  • Partner with external tax advisors by providing required information, reviewing draft computations and ensuring high-quality submissions.
  • Support high-impact strategic projects including US sales tax expansion, DAC7 implementation, R&D tax credit documentation and M&A due diligence.
  • Conduct technical tax research and prepare clear internal memos on legislative changes, risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Product & Technology, Commercial and other teams to embed tax considerations in business decisions and communicate updates effectively.
What you’ll bring to the team
  • Qualification (or part-qualification) in tax with broad exposure across multiple tax heads and a proactive, curious approach to developing expertise.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and translate tax requirements for non-tax stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and sound commercial judgement to assess the tax impact of business decisions.
  • Experience managing or contributing to cross-functional projects, ideally within travel, technology or professional services environments.
  • A positive, team-focused mindset that aligns with Car Trawler’s culture and social and environmental commitments.
