Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapist – Day Shift – $7,000 Signing Bonus. Full‑time with Ohio Health Pulmonary Services. Position focuses on home‑care and inpatient respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities- Administers MDI, nebulization, posture drainage, positive‑pressure breathing, mechanical ventilation, oxygen, aerosol therapy, and incentive spirometry.
- Observes patients during treatments; performs auscultation, pulse, and respiratory‑rate checks; documents data on patient charts.
- Prepares and delivers medications, explains breathing procedures, and follows clinical protocols under physician orders.
- Maintains artificial airway, performs intubation in emergencies, and conducts invasive procedures such as suctioning and arterial blood‑gas sampling.
- Responds to stat calls, codes, emergency responses, and participates in trauma and resuscitation procedures.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care (or equivalent).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – American Association for Respiratory Care.
- Current CPR Certification and valid state driver’s license for home‑care assignments.
