Retail Pharmacist

• Coordinate all aspects of patients' pharmaceutical needs in OSUMC outpatient and retail areas.
• Medication order approval and distribution.
• Assurance of appropriate dose, route, frequency, and duration of therapy.
• Patient medication profile review for drug-drug interactions, duplication of therapy, drug allergy interactions, and appropriate regimens.
• Patient counseling and disease state management.
• Coordination of patients' pharmaceutical needs with physicians and nurses.
• Supervise technicians, undergraduate and graduate student teaching, and provide educational programs for hospital/clinic staff.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
• 1-3 years' experience in retail or health system outpatient pharmacy preferred.
• Continues to meet competency and licensure expectations of a retail specialty pharmacist.
