Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:
- 24-bay emergency department
- 60 acute inpatient beds
- 4 operating rooms
- Level 1 cardiac capability
- Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing
- Attached MOB
The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:
- Primary Care
- Neurology
- Cardiology
- Vascular
- Other independent specialists
Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.
About The JobThe Echo Sonographer is responsible for performing Echocardiography diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, and functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.
Responsibilities- Patient Care:
Performs all studies according to policy and procedures and standards established by accrediting body. Abnormal pathology reported appropriately. Explains procedures to patients, answers patient questions. Ensures patient comfort. Assists with patient transport as needed. - Documentation:
Obtains pertinent health history. Enters accurate and complete data in diagnostic testing equipment and documentation system. Ensures accuracy of reports prior to dispatch. - Collaboration/Communication:
Communicates pertinent patient data to appropriate team members. Collaborates with other departments to provide optimum patient care. - Equipment Resource Management:
Knowledgeable of all equipment pertinent to specific area of testing. Able to perform basic troubleshooting. Participates in evaluation of new equipment.
- Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or licensed by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
- BLS certification required
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred
