As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient service across retail locations. You will assist in prescription fulfillment, inventory management, customer interaction, and a range of patient health care services while adhering to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

• Follow company SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for production, pickup, drive‑thru, and drop‑off stations.
• Ensure accurate, prompt prescription fulfillment and resolve prescription or labeling errors.
• Provide empathetic, personalized customer service and promote additional services such as immunizations and point‑of‑care testing.
• Contribute to inventory tasks—cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, waiting‑bin inventory, medication deliveries.
• Support a high‑performing, growth‑mindset team; request feedback and expand clinical knowledge.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies, including controlled‑substance dispensing, record keeping, and patient privacy.
• Perform additional patient health services—immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, offsite clinic staffing—when certified.

• Complete required licensure and training to obtain Technician Immunizer status.
• Educate patients on vaccines and coordinate with the pharmacist‑on‑duty for vaccination questions.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions and adverse event incidents.
• Collect and document patient information for vaccination records.
• Manage vaccine supplies and inventory.

• Compliance with state board of pharmacy requirements—including licensure, certification, age, and education.
• State‑level licensure and national certification as permitted by state law.

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus on tasks, accuracy in prescription information, and preparation of medication handling.
• Friendly customer service and teamwork.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning for dosage calculations and inventory.
• Problem resolution and decision‑making in patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical demands: standing, lifting, reaching, typing, and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs.
• All tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.

• 1–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Willingness to work in the home store and travel to other locations within the market.
