What You’ll Do
  • Generate revenue according to the Area Financial plan as a front-line consultant.
  • Participate in the strategic planning process for the organization, using the strategic plan to develop a plan for the area for short-term and long-term success through forecasting, budgeting, and staffing.
  • Manage a dedicated area, including performance in terms of quality, productivity, and revenue results, and provide feedback to leadership and employees regarding performance while making adjustments to plans and staffing when necessary.
  • Work closely with area leadership and other leaders to ensure consistent processes are followed and communication is efficient.
  • Develop employees in the area to meet compliance requirements, client expectations of quality of service, and future succession planning through training, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Network with others to develop business opportunities and potential future employees, meet regularly with current clients to maintain and enhance relationships, actively prospect for major client opportunities, propose significant projects, and engage in business development activities.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field (strongly preferred).
  • 10 or more years of experience in the industry preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
  • Previous supervisory experience of consultant-level employees.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching and counseling, enabling others to act and developing a service- and team-focused culture amongst reports.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and execute strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment juggling multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of Project Managers, build partnerships, and direct teams.
  • Ability to travel regionally on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
