Operational Readiness Manager - Health Projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of Operational Readiness and Transition activities across assigned projects or work streams.
• Develop and implement operational readiness plans, transition strategies, and go-live approaches.
• Ensure alignment between design, construction, commissioning, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate readiness activities across clinical, operational, workforce, and support functions.
• Identify, assess, and manage operational readiness risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support the development and implementation of operating models, workflows, and service transition plans.
• Work closely with planning and project controls teams to ensure programmes support commissioning, training, and transition activities.
• Support workforce readiness through coordination of training, mobilisation, and change activities.
• Monitor readiness progress and report status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, handover, and transition to operations, ensuring continuity of service.
• Embed lessons learned and continuous improvement across readiness and transition activities.

• Experience delivering Operational Readiness activities within complex projects or programmes.
• Background in operational delivery, facilities, healthcare, infrastructure, or similarenvironments.
• Experience working alongside project management, planning, and construction teams.
• Understanding of commissioning, handover, and transition processes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex delivery environments.
• Strong coordination and delivery skills.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement capability.
• Comfortable working in complex, fast-paced programme environments.
