Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary steward of the Visit Dublin Ohio brand, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate the annual Marketing Plan, aligning tactics and initiatives with organizational goals and destination priorities.
• Lead creative development and marketing strategy for leisure campaigns.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Dublin’s 18 hotels and more than 100 tourism and community partners to achieve shared goals.
• Act as a liaison to community organizations and hospitality partners; serve as a primary marketing contact for hotels and tourism-related businesses.
• Represent Visit Dublin Ohio professionally at appropriate local, regional, and national organizations and industry events.
• Directly manage the Marketing Coordinator, overseeing workload, priorities, and professional development.
• Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and measurable ROI.
• Oversee all digital channels, including and social media platforms (Facebook, X, Tik Tok, etc.), ensuring strategic content planning and brand consistency.
• Lead website strategy, content development, database updates, and overall digital user experience.
• Develop and manage email marketing strategy, growing engagement and the monthly subscriber base.
• Oversee public relations efforts, including media relations, messaging, and external PR support.
• Manage external vendors, including those supporting regional marketing campaigns, public relations, website, CRM/CMS platforms, photography, and videography.
• Oversee production of all marketing collateral, including the Destination Guide and other print and digital materials.
• Manage and maintain the organization’s image and video library; oversee photo and video shoots as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and report on performance data for all marketing programs on a monthly and annual basis to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations (travel and tourism experience a plus)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
• Collaborative, relationship-driven professional with community engagement experience
• Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong social media and digital marketing expertise
• Skilled project manager with experience overseeing vendors and cross-functional initiatives
