Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients, plan care within set time frames, and document findings according to policies.
  • Oversee and supervise shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately, including notifying physicians.
  • Administer medications following hospital policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program or relevant state licensure.
  • Experience in psychiatric healthcare preferred, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
  • Current unencumbered RN license.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
