- Maintain clean shelves, control temperature, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food

- Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps and forklift spotting procedures.
- Follow hazardous material handling and disposal procedures, steel standard guidelines, and report unsafe situations to management.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, including zoning, receiving, stocking, cleaning, and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, pricing, and completing required audits and paperwork.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the company’s products.
- Follow freezer/cooler area policies: comply with food‑handling policies, operate, repair, and sanitize equipment, follow cold‑chain procedures, clean the area, monitor fans, drains, and doors, and report issues to management.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.
