Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use the Target App features including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Assist with returns following register prompts; partner with Leaders as needed while following Target’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders and related duties while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and with a team.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions and support cash office functions as needed.
• Safely scan, handle and move merchandise, including occasional lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Be comfortable in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up or carryout.
