We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans find their favorite merchandise. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support daily store operations and sales goals.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience, demonstrating product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Support leadership by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales transactions accurately and promote additional sales through store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand sales goals and key KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with store layout changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ.
• Maintain store security and prevent theft in collaboration with store management.
• Help keep stock rooms organized and the store tidy.
• Contribute to building a passionate and collaborative team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with an interest in music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
