Base pay: $17.80/hr – $22.25/hr
Position OverviewThe Multi‑Site Service Technician I is responsible for supporting the daily maintenance operations of an apartment community to ensure resident satisfaction, property functionality, and compliance with company standards. Reports to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations (Fair Housing, ADA, FCC, etc.).
- Inspect buildings and common areas to assess cleanliness, safety, and overall condition.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Complete work orders within 48 hours, unless an emergency requires immediate action.
- Ensure unit turnovers are completed within five working days unless otherwise directed.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team and maintain daily progress updates.
- Maintain professional and courteous relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Assist with grounds and seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and debris cleanup to preserve curb appeal.
- Complete and submit required administrative documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in the maintenance on‑call rotation to handle after‑hours emergencies.
- Formal technical training or equivalent experience in heating and air conditioning (preferred).
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling or willingness to obtain upon hire (preferred).
- HVAC certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter‑property travel.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety standards.
- Own hand tools and power tools (drill, impact driver, etc.).
- Strong written and oral communication; self‑motivated; ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs; work in all weather conditions.
- Paid time‑off: up to 18 days PTO per year, additional holiday and floating days; veterans‑day paid off.
- Volunteer PTO: 8 hours paid per year.
