General Dentist

Crescent Community Health Center is seeking a full-time General Dentist, as we expandour dentistry services in our brand-new state-of-the-art dental clinic.

Crescent Community Health Center located in Dubuque, Iowa, provides access to dental,healthcare, and wellness services for the Tri-State area for all patients without regard in ability to pay. We are the only dental clinic in theTri-State region to accept patients with Medicaid, which helps patient access.

Ourstate-of-the-art facility (2nd largest in Iowa) consists of 35 operatories,an oral surgery center and an onsite dental lab. We have invested in new equipment such as intraoral scanners, milling machines, 3D imaging, rotary

Endo, and surgical microscopes, which reflects our commitment to embrace advanced technology. We also work in the community with our new two-operatorymobile dental clinic. These investments align well with our mission to offerhigh quality comprehensive care to all age groups.

Major responsibilities of this position will include provision of direct patient care within the scope of general dentistry, in addition to didactic and clinical teaching at the postdoctoral level for our dentistry residents.

The successful candidate must have a DDS or DMD or equivalent degree and must beable to obtain a license to practice dentistry in the state of Iowa.

In addition to providing patient care, the general dentist will qualify for afaculty appointment with the current NYU Langone AEGD program here at Crescent. Crescent offers a competitive compensation package.

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and credentials. This is a full-time position with full benefits including health, dental, vision insurance (company paid), company paid life insurance,short and long term disability, voluntary insurances, generous PTO and sickleave, holidays, and 401(k) with company 5% match (no vesting).
