In this role, you will work closely with supervisors and employees across both first and second shifts to promote safety awareness and support our safety department’s goals.

• Develop and implement safety and environmental policies in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Conduct studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards; prepare reports for company personnel and external agencies.
• Inspect facilities to identify existing or potential accident and health hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and oversee safety and ergonomic committees across all operating companies.
• Perform industrial hygiene sampling and participate in accident and injury investigations.
• Compile and submit accident reports to regulatory agencies and support the workers’ compensation program.
• Create and maintain safety documentation, including OSHA 300 logs and safety files.
• Represent the organization in community and industry safety groups and promote safety awareness campaigns such as Rite‑Hite SAFE.
• Support quality system and procedures for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to two years of related industrial safety work experience, or equivalent training.
• In‑depth knowledge of state and federal OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with supervisors and employees on both shifts.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).

Earnings: $84,300.00 – $ annually.
