Electrical Engineer

Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated person for a full-time position with the firm as an Electrical Engineer
. The applicant must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or similar educational qualifications and the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of Wisconsin or Iowa.

This position will include developing a full set of electrical plans, writing specifications and monitoring a project through construction. Responsibilities include design of lighting, lighting control, power and low voltage electrical systems. Tasks include load calculation, system sizing and layouts, cost estimating, calculation/sizing electrical equipment and facility field survey.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from accredited engineering program.
• 3 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering field preferred
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Wisconsin or Iowa.
• Experience with modeling concepts, AutoCAD, and other CAD related products.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently.
• Ability to interpret national and local codes and standards to insure compliance.
• Ability/flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if/as required
• Must be team-oriented and capable of working with other staff members.
• Valid driving license and driving record acceptable to our Company insurance provider
