Manufacturing Engineer –

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Dubuque area to provide day‑to‑day line support and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with production teams to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
- Drive cost reductions and yield improvements.
- Utilize project management tools to enhance productivity.
- Improve equipment capability and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for error proofing and implement effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing and quality engineering.
- Experience with project management.
- 5‑10 years of industry experience preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an operations or maintenance role.
- Lean manufacturing green or black belt certification.
This is a dynamic engineering environment where you will spend the majority of your day on the floor doing maintenance and when supporting production. For project support, expect to spend 50‑60% of your day on the floor. The team is experienced and offers opportunities to collaborate with experts in a collaborative environment that values hands‑on problem solving and continuous improvement.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Dubuque, IA.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 – $58.00/hr.
