Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop wastewater treatment systems and processes
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for wastewater projects
• Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications for wastewater infrastructure
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess wastewater treatment facilities
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of wastewater treatment systems
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in wastewater engineering

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in wastewater engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and technologies
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Note:

Experience in oil and gas industry or stream/river restoration projects is a plus.
