Overview

Shift: PRN, as needed. You will be a level II PRN, which requires you to work a minimum of 24 hours per month, 4 weekends per year and 2 holidays per year. Looking for someone with 1st or 2nd shift availability and option of working weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Verify patient identification, obtain relevant medical history, and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding and comfort.
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Adhere to all MRI safety guidelines, including screening for contraindications and maintaining proper magnet room safety procedures.
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists to determine if additional views or sequences are required.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to maintain certification and stay current with advancements in MRI technology.
Qualifications Education
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Graduate of an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Experience
  • 2 years of prior MRI experience.
Certification/License
  • Current Radiologic Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Current MRI certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or six months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire.
