Position: Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)

QIDP - Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (ICF/)

Location: Dubuque, IA

Schedule: Full-Time | Exempt | Primarily Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (occasional evenings/weekends)

At Hills & Dales, we empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, dignified lives. As a mission-driven nonprofit, we are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to lead and coordinate care for residents in our ICF/.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a person-centered, team oriented, and impactful environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development and oversight of individualized care and active treatment plans
  • Facilitate IPP meetings, quarterly reviews, and behavioral support planning
  • Supervise and mentor direct care and support staff
  • Support resident admissions and discharges, including pre-admission assessments
  • Serve as liaison between residents, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor quality standards, ensure compliance, and support strategic goals
  • Provide occasional direct support and emergency on-call leadership coverage
  • Maintain clear, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and agency policy
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or related field per ICF/s (required)
  • 1+ year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a care/residential setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for advocacy, inclusion, and quality-of-life improvements
  • Must pass background checks and be free from history of abuse/neglect
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
