Part time

Day Shift

• Saturday and Sunday
• 10 or 12 hour shifts
• 5/6 weekends

• Perform quality ultrasound procedures utilizing proper positioning skills and technical factors, and a knowledge of anatomical structures pertinent to the patient population of infants to geriatrics.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
• Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
• Educate patients of exams being performed and obtain consent to perform procedures when necessary.

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with two of the following: RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RMSKS.
• Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME’s every 3 yrs/annual payment).
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.
