Sonographer – JUMPSTART PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
Triton Health is recruiting a dedicated Sonographer to join our team at Mercy One Dubuque
. This full‑time position offers a unique jump‑start program, supportive training, and a clear pathway to board certification.
As a Sonographer at Mercy One, you will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations—including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and cardiac studies—while maintaining accurate records and providing technical guidance to students and staff. You will also support radiologists in interpreting studies and help advance our mission of community health.

- Full‑time
- Night shift, Monday‑Thursday
- 40 hours per week (10‑hour shifts)
- Rotating call and holiday coverage
- $1,500 monthly stipend while completing the final 9 months of your radiology education
- Board and licensure fee reimbursement
- Full‑time position available after board passage and licensure
- 18‑month employment retention required
- Up to $20,000 sign‑on bonus available

Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound exams and maintain related records.
- Assist radiologists with study interpretation.
- Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff.

- 40 hours per week.
- Nights – Monday to Thursday.
- 10–hour shifts.
- Rotating call and holiday coverage.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one of the following categories:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)
- If not registered, be board‑eligible and become registered within one year of hire.
- ARDMS preferred; ARRT and Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
- Maintain active registry status (30 CME credits every 3 years/annual payment).
- Complete Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire and renew every 2 years.

- Sonographer (graduating 2026) – tuition reimbursement.
